Terrebonne is a small town with just a few businesses located within. You will find some small businesses and local restaurants in town, with larger retailers located in nearby Redmond, just 10 minutes away, or Bend, just 30 minutes away.

One of the most well-known attractions in Terrebonne is Smith Rock State Park. The world-renowned rock climbing destination features hiking trails for a variety of skill levels, as well as primitive campsites. Residents of Terrebonne can take in the jaw-dropping scenery any time, enjoying a hike, horseback ride, or rock climbing adventure just a few minutes outside of the center of town. The park features deep river canyons, thousands of climbs for rock climbers of all skill levels, and plenty of wildlife sightings including golden eagles, prairie falcons, mule deer, river otters, and beaver.

Just outside of Terrebonne is Crescent Moon Ranch. This is a fun place to spend the day, especially with kids. The ranch is home to alpacas you can meet up close, sometimes even helping to feed or pet. Also on site is a farm store where you will find a variety of hand-crafted goods made from alpaca fibers. Don't forget to visit in the spring when there are baby alpacas to meet!

Pump House Bar & Grill is one of the local restaurants in the heart of Terrebonne, with great reviews and a reputation for a friendly atmosphere. The restaurant serves classics to satisfy your cravings, like pizza, wings, burgers, and beers on tap.

Children living in Terrebonne are supported by the public schools in Redmond School District. There are limited school choices in Terrebonne, but families interested in private schools can choose from many in surrounding communities if they don't mind a commute.
